What You'll Do:

  • Leverage expertise to drive focused, innovative solutions for both immediate and long-term project challenges
  • Evaluate project requirements, including timeframes, labor needs, and material costs, to ensure feasibility and accuracy
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and qualifications for bid proposals, ensuring precision and alignment with project goals
  • Perform meticulous structural and miscellaneous material take-offs to support accurate project planning
  • Collaborate effectively with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy and alignment throughout the estimating process
  • Deliver polished and timely estimate presentations to clients, maintaining professionalism and fostering positive relationships
  • Support project controls, including schedule and cost management, to maintain efficient project execution
  • Participate in additional tasks and special projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team

What makes you stand out:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Tekla PowerFab or FabSuite is considered an asset
  • Prior experience in projects involving tilt panels, manufacturing facilities, or schools is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is highly desirable
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team setting
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills to manage complex tasks efficiently
