Working under the mentorship of our experienced Controller, you will engage in meaningful accounting work that contributes directly to our success. We’re not just a team; we’re a community that thrives on collaborative spirit and mutual support.
Your Experience:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Understanding of accruals, GST/HST, and PST.
- Experience in a multi-company or multi-country organization would be an asset.
- Skills in payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Exposure to foreign exchange transactions.
As our Senior Accountant, your main duties will include:
- Daily transaction processing, ensuring all transactions are supported with adequate backup.
- Managing electronic filings and maintaining accurate tax treatment for all periods.
- Overseeing accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing payroll files and ensuring timely accounts payable payments.
- Processing intercompany transactions and documenting financial processes.
- Upholding our internal controls and contributing to month-end duties.
- Providing stellar communication with customers and vendors.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative functions.

Required Qualifications:
- Several years of robust accounting work experience.
- Active enrolment in the mid-level of the CPA program or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products is critical.
- Outstanding communication skills – we value clarity and precision.
- A true team player who brings a reliable and diligent approach to every task.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
