Description
JMT Consultants Inc. is looking for a Steel Detailing Project Manager with deep expertise in Tekla Structures and extensive experience in steel structure projects. This role requires a leader who understands the complexities and demands of steel construction projects. Your experience will play a critical role in managing the detailing, fabrication, and assembly processes, ensuring projects are delivered with precision. Proficiency in steel structure design and construction is essential for developing effective project plans, executing detailed designs, and maintaining alignment with architectural and engineering specifications. Your leadership will guide projects from conception through completion, upholding our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. For those not local to Winnipeg, we offer an attractive relocation package and are open to remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of project management from planning to delivery.
- Utilize your advanced skills in Tekla Structures to manage design and detailing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and fabricators to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage project timelines, oversee RFIs, and handle change orders efficiently.
- Foster a cooperative and productive team environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through direct engagement and effective problem-
Who You Are:
- Experienced with Tekla Structures at an advanced level.
- Equipped with 3-5 years in project management, with a strong background in steel detailing or a related field.
- Proficient in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, with a keen ability to interpret fabrication drawings.
- A motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
